My Everest … the Journey Continues

by Mike, under General

I am about to make some changes to my rehabilitation routine after spending a little over 12 months as an outpatient at the Epworth hospital rehabilitation centre. I am about to leave them to spend some more time making the physical abilities that I have developed to be more functional. My main aim over the next few months will be to see if I can drive. I am dreaming of being able to walk out of my front door, get myself in the car, put my seatbelt on and drive somewhere. Once I’m there, I will need to be able to take the seatbelt off, get out of the car and walk to my destination.

To celebrate what I have achieved during my time at the Epworth Hospital I have put a video together. Many people have assisted me get to this point, so I hope this video shows what they have helped me to achieve.

Enjoy,

Mike.

WOW, I can’t believe how far you have come! I sat watching speachless, my heart beating in my throat,to scared to breath, I was memorised by your positive energy. I dared not blink as I wanted to share every step with you. LOL…Just as well I am sitting on the otherside of this computer screen as I was not ready for you to come back down.(I was sobbing too…)
Congratulations and I have no doubt that you will be walking to your car, driving and even pushing one of those crazy shopping trolleys.
Happiness doesn’t depend upon what you are or what you have; you have taught me, it depends soley upon what you think.

Lots of love and best wishes coming to you all xx

Throughout this great design of things you receive a B+ just for hard work. Exactly where you confused us ended up being in the facts. As it is said, the devil is in the details… And that could not be more correct at this point. Having said that, let me tell you just what exactly did give good results. The writing is definitely very convincing and this is possibly the reason why I am taking an effort to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, although I can notice a jumps in logic you make, I am not certain of how you seem to unite your ideas that help to make the actual final result. For the moment I will yield to your position but wish in the near future you connect the facts much better.

One of the toughest things a guy could ever do is get a girl easily. Of course, there are a few who are gifted at this, and are so good at spreading the news. However, not all…
