We were so pleased to be at your dinner on Saturday night. We already knew how amazing your friends were but Saturday night once again demonstrated this.

We thought the speeches were inspiring and honest especially Mike’s. Each day we are reminded of how lucky we are, the goodness of humanity and the importance of family.

We were touched that Daniel felt he could ‘open up’ in the way he spoke during his interview. We loved the slide show Pete. We will always be grateful to the nurse who told you in ICU to keep hoping.

You are an amazing family and we can see the strength that you draw from each other. Good luck in America as you take another step toward the goal of being the best you can be.

All our love Lexie, Simon, Lily and Seb

Great to hear the bounce in your voice Mike after the big night. There is so much power in determination and quite resolve. A big thank you to all your mates for making it what it was. The night no doubt showed that we all face battles and have to overcome problems that we can well do without… but remember these challenges just help us to realise who we are. Enjoy your “boot camp” in USA. Love Dad.

All the best for your trip to the U.S. Will be thinking of you in your endeavours over the next couple of months. I hope someone has told them that it’s best to work with you guys, not try and stop what you plan to do!
    Love all at Possum Creek
