A minor setback – maybe third time lucky
A very quick post to thank everyone for wishing us well ….. except we haven’t gone yet.
Mike has been unwell for the past week but has deteroriated in the last few days to the point that we did not leave as planned yesterday morning. We delayed by 2 days and were planning to leave tomorrow – however, Mike is now on his way to hospital for tests and observation to find out what the problem is.
I will keep you posted and will advise of our revised leaving date asap – hopefully it is just a simple infection that we can get under control relatively quickly. Hopefully, when we re-book our flights it will be case of third time lucky!

Sorry I haven’t been visiting for a while, been to India for Xmas and NY and recently had a serious injury myself, so can’t leave my apartment! I will try and visit you at home when you are better and settled. Well done on your ride…fn amazing!

You might be interested to read about a new research grant on the Sydney Uni website. http://www.usyd.edu.au. I’ve saved a copy and can send it to you if you like. The items only stay up for a few days, but here is the intro:

Not to long ago you could buy the cards without any information identifying who you are. It\s total B.s that law requires it. They can keep track of money through when you pay for the PRE PAID cost or when you add on. It\s probly cause people were skeeming and using it as a form of colateral when theres only 10 dollars on it
