Hi - Someone turned the rollercoaster on again. Bad day today. There’s an issue with Mike’s swallow. He is off food again & may have issues long term eating normal food. He is a bit down. Mon

Hi Mon,
It is still only 2 weeks since the accident – each day will continue to present new challenges, some good and some bad but we all know Mike is a trooper and he will get over whatever hurdle he may face – I truely believe that!!!!

Mon, The news and progress changes every day,so stay positive the next days news will be a good one like kids one day down the next day up. We all know Mike is drawing strength from you and his devoted family and friends. Nice photo Lesley with you , Mike and Ash. Keep up the good work Mike your a real Aussie battler. Hey Mon, it sure is a real roller coaster. There are going to be many steps forward offset by some small ones in the other direction. And over time the winning direction is forward. The strength can always be drawn by the fact Mike is going to tackle this like everything in life, and give it his all to have the best chance of recovery. Love to you and Ash, and of course your mum and dad who will always give you strength when you need it most.

Sorry haven’t been about yet this week- have been working in Geelong! What was I thinking??!!
Absolutely thinking of you every day mate- heaps of people are asking after you and wishing you all the best. Bride and I will come and see you tomorrow or the next day.

It was inspiring to hear the positive comments & plans when talking to Mike last night, and by the sounds of Bruce’s comment, the positive thoughts and words have been backed up with positive actions today.
