Hi Mon,
It’s been a while but Julie P passed the news and the website to me. I can’t believe whats happened and I wish you and your hubby and family the best. The improvement has been staggering to read about and your hubby sure is a force to be reckoned with!! Keep the website going please and thanks to everyone who’s contributing as it’s great to read the updates. I’ll be cheering on the sidelines for you all… Dee

Hi Forbesy and Monica
I heard of your news just after it happened, and like everyone else was left completely speechless. I’ve deliberately not contacted you until you were taking visitors, and Vossy just advised me today about this site.
Great to hear that your unstoppable positivity is shining through (you really are a freak). Apparently optimism is at least as effective as many medications so keep it up!
My thoughts are with you and your family every day – and I’d love to come in and visit when you are up for it. Now that I’m “partially-retired” probably best to come in during the work hours so as to avoid your visitor-rush!
You and I were going to inaugurate the E*Tranzition Motorcycle Club – perhaps now we can found the “We faced our own mortality and didn’t blink” Club. This day, like every other, is indeed about living.
See you real soon

Met Mike up in Sydney couple of Christmas’ ago when rolling out with the Coluzzi bunch with TOJ. Awesome guy and wanted to chat the whole bloody time even when heart rates were going through the roof! And after a bloody hard ride with Pro Tour riders in attendance, we all collapsed into endless cups of caffe to recover. But not Forebsy, as he hit the road again to get up the central coast to see his family! Hard man that Forbesy we all said, even Conquest thought so!!
Our thoughts are with Mike and his family at this time and hopefully his strength and resolve will help his recover to the best of his ability. regards Shane and Kris, Canberra.

i don’t think a moment has gone by since hearing this horrific news about Michael that he, Moni and Ashley have not been in my thoughts. as i do the day to day things that accompany living i think of how these mundane acts have changed for you all.
Moni your courage is amazing and as for Michael i am speechless, the strength you are showng is incredable, though i guess knowing you not surprising.
Thankyou for the updates mitch and to all who are involved with this website. i check it often. at times the human spirit is tested beyond what it seems capable of surviving but you are a credit to eachother, yourselves and all who know you.
keep fighting michael, i know you will, especially when you look at your gorgeous girls, what more reason do you need.
all of our love and support lorraine, simon and the 3 little magas. xxxxx
